Tuesday morning, police received a report of a body found in Eden Prairie.

The body was found along Hennepin Town Road, north of Pioneer Trail. The area noted by police was near where 39-year-old Mike Elhard was last seen Monday morning during a run.

Police said the body found matches "the description of missing person Mike Elhard."

There were no signs of foul play, according to police, though an investigation is ongoing.

The Hennepin County medical examiner is expected to formally identify the body.
