Thunderstorms, some possibly severe, are expected to roll their way across the state Friday afternoon.
According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, Friday will start with partly cloudy skies and high humidity before thunderstorms begin after 3 p.m. The likelihood for thunderstorms between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday is 90%. Some of the thunderstorms have the possibility of creating tornadoes, damaging wind, large hail and heavy rainfall according to Yuhas.
Storms are expected to continue into Saturday early morning before the skies turn partly cloudy. Humidity is expected to be lower after the storms, accompanied by a high temperature of 81 degrees.
Sunday is forecast to be partly cloudy and breezy with a high of 78 degrees and a low of 60 degrees.
