After numerous days of spring-like weather the last week, wintry weather could return Monday.
KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said some snow and rain is possible Monday.
According to Yuhas, 1 inch of snow could accumulate in the Twin Cities. The southwest suburbs could see up to 3 inches, while areas south of the Twin Cities could see up to 5 inches.
Because of the snow, a number of southern Minnesota counties have been placed under a winter weather advisory or winter storm warning.
Temperatures during the day Monday are expected to be in the 30s.
Warmer weather will return Tuesday, with temperatures in the 40s. Similar temperatures are expected for the rest of the week.
