Severe thunderstorm warnings that were issued in the region have since expired. 

A number of severe thunderstorm warnings were issued throughout the evening Monday for metro and central Minnesota counties.

After Monday's thunderstorms, Minnesotans can expect more rain Tuesday, according to KSTP Meteorologist Wren Clair.
