Thursday, the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office announced that the National Weather Service in Grand Forks determined an EF1 tornado struck the county on Aug. 7, leaving widespread damage in the area.

The NWS determined multiple weak funnels and a brief EF0 tornado likely touched down three miles west-northwest of Park Rapids at about 7:30 p.m.
