The Stillwater Ponies baseball team defeated the White Bear Lake Bears 4-0, Thursday evening at White Bear Lake High School.

The Ponies led 2-0 after the first inning.

In the third inning, pitcher Gavin Zurn hit a double for Stillwater. Then, Brayden Hellum drove in Zurn with an RBI double, making it 3-0 Stillwater.

The Ponies added some run support in the top of the seventh when, following a Hellum walk, Mason McCurdy hit an RBI triple to make it 4-0 Ponies.

Four runs were more than enough for Zurn and the Stillwater defense. Zurn pitched a complete-game shutout, allowing only one hit.

With the win, Stillwater improves to 4-0 on the season.
