Centennial softball remains unbeaten after 14-3 win over Maple Grove

Centennial softball was in control from the get-go, defeating Maple Grove, 14-3, the 2019 state champions.

Heading into the game, both teams were undefeated. Centennial got a strong pitching performance from Maisy Dockendorf and the Cougars bats did the rest.

Centennial's Helene Krage had a big day with the bat, going 4-for-4 with five RBIs. Ella Fidler went 2-for-4, with a home run, and Bryn Ryberg had two hits, including a home run in the first inning.

Currently, Centennial is 9-0 and is ranked No. 2 in Class 4A, while Maple Grove slipped to 6-1. They are ranked No. 5 in Class 4A.
