Friday, St. Paul Public Schools announced that students in grades 6-12 may return to in-person learning in April.
The exact date set by the district is April 12.
According to the district, students who wish to continue learning under the distance learning model may do so.
"With COVID-19 case rates continuing to decline, we are confident this plan will give our secondary students more opportunities to succeed while keeping everyone’s physical and social-emotional health a top priority," Superintendent Joe Gothard said in a statement.
