Tornado drills are scheduled Thursday in Minnesota as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week.

Outdoor warning sirens are scheduled to sound at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. in several counties across the state.

During Severe Weather Awareness Week, people are encouraged to make plans and emergency kits for when severe weather hits.
