Police say a 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred in the city's North End neighborhood last month. 

Police say Marlon Vincent Walker was arrested Wednesday outside a hotel on the 7700 block of Lyndale Avenue South in Richfield. 

Police say Walker is being held in jail and faces a second-degree murder charge. 

St. Paul Police ID victim of fatal North End shooting

St. Paul Police said a 911 caller reported shots fired just after 11 p.m. on April 25 on the 1200 block of Jackson Street. Officers responded and found the victim, later identified as Tyreese W. Harris, sitting on the ground and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. 

Officers provided aid before Harris was taken to a hospital where he died early Monday morning.
