Heads up drivers: There are weekend lane restrictions and ramp closures planned along southbound Interstate 35W between Roseville and Lino Lakes.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) reported Friday that crews are wrapping up some final work in the area.

Here's a look at the lane and ramp closures:

  • Southbound I-35W lane closure between County Road 52 and County Road C
    • From 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
  • Ramp closure from County Road C to southbound I-35W
    • From 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
    • Detour: Take County Road C to northbound Cleveland Avenue to westbound County Road D to access southbound I-35W.
  • Ramp closure from southbound I-35W to County Road 96
    • From 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
    • Detour: Exit prior to the County Road 96 exit at eastbound Highway 10 to access County Road 96.
  • Ramp closures to and from County Road 52
    • From 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
    • Detours:
      • I-35W ramp to County Road 52: Drivers can exit at Lexington Avenue to access County Road 52.
      • County Road 52 ramp to southbound I-35W: Drivers should take the southbound I-35W service road to County Road J to access southbound I-35W.

Meanwhile, starting Aug. 2, MnPASS will become E-ZPass. E-ZPass will connect Minnesota's express lane system to 19 states in the Midwest and East Coast, allowing drivers to use the same pass in those participating states.
