Police are looking for a stolen vehicle that had a 5-month-old puppy inside it in White Bear Lake.

According to the White Bear Lake Police Department, on Sept. 19, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from the Holiday convenience store at 4540 Centerville Road. The vehicle, a 2014 white Dodge Charger, was taken while the driver was inside the store. A puppy, gray in color, was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident.

"After much effort, we have exhausted the leads we believed were going to help reunite the dog and vehicle with their owner," police said in a statement Monday.

The public's help is being requested to help locate the vehicle or dog. Police believe both may be in the St. Paul area.

If anyone has any information they can share relating to this incident, they are asked to contact Capt. Dale Hager with White Bear Lake Police at 651-429-8552.
