A man suffered from multiple gunshot wounds on Friday night in Eagan. 

According to the Eagan Police Department, at 11:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of gunshots inside an apartment building located at 3900 block of Valley View Drive South.

Once officers arrived at the scene, they located a man with multiple gunshot wounds. 

Police said witnesses at the apartment building provided officers with suspect descriptions and two men were quickly taken into custody attempting to leave the area. 

Both suspects were transported to Dakota County Jail, where they await criminal charges related to the shooting. 

The victim is currently being treated at Regions Hospital and is in stable condition. 
 
The incident remains under investigation. More information is expected to come at a later time.
